The America Reading Challenge

Hello, friends!
I absolutely love reading; however, since starting college three years ago, I haven't had nearly as much time to read as I would like. Part of this is because I don't know what to read these days.
In high school, I read a lot of Young Adult fiction (mainly fantasy/dystopian/science-fiction), but the YA genre doesn't interest me much anymore. This makes the "book search" a little more difficult, and usually by the time I figure out what to read, the time I had to read is gone. It's been a while since I've had a good "TBR" list compiled.
Recently I was browsing book recommendations on Pinterest, and I found the America Reading Challenge that Ash at Tale Away came up with. It's a list of fifty books set in each of the fifty states. Fifty books is definitely enough to keep me busy for a while, so I decided to give it a go! I'm super excited to start this reading challenge and read some great books.
I'm reading them alphabetically by state, starting with Alabama.
The book for Alabama is To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee. I've read this before, but it's been a while so I decided to read it again. The second book (set in Alaska) is Into The Wild, which is also a re-read for me. I'm expecting to finish these two fairly quickly, so I'll post an update when I'm moving onto book #3.
I'm really looking forward to this reading challenge, and I'll be sure to post updates along the way.
(P.S. I really recommend checking out Tale Away for a ton of great book suggestions based off of different locations!)
Thanks for reading!
-Anna
